Sync Mushroom User Manual
About This Manual
This manual explains how to install and use Sync Mushroom safely and how to send manual actions from a TradingView web chart to MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
It focuses on the preparation, operation, checks, and warning responses required by the user rather than the product's internal technical architecture.
- Always verify the final result of every order, modification, cancellation, and close operation in MT5.
- Mask account numbers and other sensitive information before sharing screenshots, videos, live streams, or support materials with third parties.
- Sync Mushroom does not provide automated trading, trading signals, or investment advice.
1-1 What Sync Mushroom Is
Sync Mushroom is a local execution utility for discretionary traders who want to send manual actions to MT5 running on the same Windows PC while continuing to view a TradingView web chart.
The Sync Mushroom panel lets you perform the following operations from TradingView without repeatedly switching between TradingView and MT5:
- Market BUY and SELL
- New orders with TP and SL
- Stop and Limit pending orders
- Modification and cancellation of existing pending orders
- Review of open positions
- Modification of TP and SL for open positions
- Close an individual position
- ALL CLOSE for every open position
1-2 What Sync Mushroom Does
Sync Mushroom sends only the actions you explicitly perform on the panel to MT5 through the local Bridge.
Final order acceptance, execution, modification, cancellation, and closing are governed by MT5 and the trading conditions of your broker.
1-3 What Sync Mushroom Does Not Do
Sync Mushroom does not provide any of the following:
- Automated trading
- AI-based trading decisions
- Generation or distribution of trading signals
- Copy trading
- Investment advice
- Guarantees of profit, win rate, execution speed, or trading results
- A replacement for MT5 or your brokerage account
You are solely responsible for choosing the entry direction, order volume, price, TP, SL, and exit decision.
2-1 Components
Sync Mushroom consists of the following components.
TradingView Web Chart
This is where you analyze charts and initiate manual actions. The Sync Mushroom panel appears on the TradingView web chart.
Sync Mushroom Chrome Extension
The extension displays the panel on TradingView and manages order controls, price display, position display, the pending-order list, and connection status.
The Chrome extension is included with the Sync Mushroom product.
Sync Mushroom Local Bridge
The local Bridge runs between the Chrome extension and MT5. It sends user actions to MT5 and returns account information, prices, positions, pending orders, and order results to the panel.
The local Bridge is included with the Sync Mushroom product.
MetaTrader 5
MT5 is the terminal that actually executes orders. Sync Mushroom cannot execute orders by itself.
2-2 Order Route
Normal order operations are processed through the following route:
TradingView → Sync Mushroom Chrome Extension → Local Bridge → MT5
Sync Mushroom does not use a public webhook or an external order-relay service for order operations.
2-3 External Communication
Sync Mushroom uses an internet connection for license activation and license verification.
TradingView and MT5 also require internet access to connect to their respective services.
3-1 Required Environment
The following environment is required to use Sync Mushroom:
- Windows 11 PC
- Google Chrome 116 or later, or an equivalent Chromium-based web browser
- TradingView web chart
- MetaTrader 5
- Sync Mushroom Chrome extension, included with the product
- Sync Mushroom local Bridge, included with the product
- Internet connection
The TradingView desktop application is not supported. Use TradingView in a web browser.
Google Chrome, the local Bridge, and MT5 must run on the same Windows PC.
3-2 Concurrent MT5 Use
Sync Mushroom can use only one broker account logged in through one MT5 terminal at a time.
If multiple MT5 terminals are running at the same time, the following operations are blocked for safety:
- New orders
- TP or SL modification for open positions
- Modification of pending orders
- Cancellation of pending orders
- Close an individual position
- ALL CLOSE
If a multiple-MT5 warning appears, close every MT5 terminal and then start only the one you intend to use for trading.
3-3 Market Watch
The MT5 symbol corresponding to the TradingView symbol must be available in MT5 Market Watch.
Add the currency pairs or instruments you intend to trade to Market Watch and make sure they are tradable on the account currently logged in.
3-4 Brokers and Account Types
Sync Mushroom is designed for MT5 environments, but operation is not guaranteed with every broker, account type, instrument, or order condition.
Compatibility depends on factors including:
- Availability of the target symbol
- Trading permissions on the account
- Minimum lot, maximum lot, and lot step
- Stops Level
- Supported order types
- Expiration support
- Filling Mode
- Trading hours
- Acceptance rules of the broker server
4-1 Basic Installation Sequence

- Modification of pending orders
- Cancellation of pending orders
- Close an individual position

Sync Mushroom automatically matches broker-specific prefixes, suffixes, symbols containing special characters, and supported instrument aliases.
When multiple charts are displayed in TradingView, Sync Mushroom automatically resynchronizes to the symbol of the chart you click to make active. After switching charts, confirm that the MT5 Symbol display on the panel has changed before performing any operation.
6-3 Bid, Ask, and Spread
In normal Market mode, the following prices are displayed:
- SELL side: Bid

Depending on the connection state or symbol synchronization state, a price may temporarily appear as --- or -.

7-5 Order Results
When an operation succeeds, the MT5 result is reflected on the panel and the position list or pending-order list is updated.
When an operation fails, an error message or reason may be displayed.
If the result is unclear, do not immediately resend the same order. Check open positions, pending orders, and trade history in MT5 first.

Examples include:
XAUUSD→XAUUSDmXAUUSD→XAUUSD.aGOLD→ anXAUUSD-family symbolXAGUSD→XAGUSDmSILVER→ anXAGUSD-family symbolEURUSD→EURUSDmBTCUSD→#BTCUSD

When multiple charts are displayed in TradingView, Sync Mushroom automatically resynchronizes to the symbol of the chart you click to make active.
After switching charts, confirm that the MT5 Symbol display on the panel has changed to the new target before performing any operation.
16-3 Conditions Required for Execution
The following must be in a normal state before BUY or SELL can be used:
- The local Bridge is connected.
- Only one MT5 terminal is running.
- An MT5 account is logged in.
- The active TradingView chart can be identified.
- A corresponding MT5 symbol is synchronized.
- The license can be used.
After an account change, MT5 reconnection, TradingView chart switch, or TradingView language change, wait without performing any operation until resynchronization is complete.
16-4 Pending Orders and Positions
New orders are sent to the MT5 symbol synchronized with the current active TradingView chart.
When modifying or closing an existing pending order or position, the operation targets the MT5 order or position corresponding to the selected Ticket.
Sync Evidence Console (SEC) is a separate product used to review Sync Mushroom operation records and synchronization status.
SEC does not execute orders and does not modify MT5 orders or positions.
Use SEC when you need to:
- Review how an order operation was processed.
- Review the relationship between the MT5 result and the on-screen update.
- Review records related to a Close operation.
- Review logs after support instructs you to do so.
See the dedicated Sync Evidence Console manual for detailed operating instructions.
18-1 Local Logs

Logs are organized at regular intervals, and older logs are deleted automatically.
Logs help investigate a cause but do not replace MT5 trade history or the current account state.
18-2 Sending Logs to Support
Send logs only when support specifically instructs you to provide them.
Follow the support instructions regarding the files to send and the submission method.
19-1 Final Source of Confirmation
Verify the final status of every order, modification, Cancel, and Close operation in MT5.
Do not reach a conclusion from the Sync Mushroom panel alone.

When One-Click Trading is enabled, confirmation is skipped for new Market orders and new pending orders.
An accidental click can immediately send an order, so enable it only when required.
